Metro Atlanta Ranks Alongside Major Cities in Crashes Resulting in Injury

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta ranks fourth among all cities in crashes resulting in injury in the United States according to a 2009 study.  Atlanta also ranked sixth in the United States for traffic related accidents. This is particularly important to remember as the holiday season is quickly approaching, and more people are on the road. Atlanta is ranked among the large metropolitan cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami. The cost of congestion related problems as well as traffic crashed has nearly doubled since 2005, so it seems it is going to be an ongoing problem for the metro-Atlanta area.
